At Scuba Shack we pride ourselves on having some most friendly and personable diving crew on the coast. Our many awards and accolades can be attributed to the easy going and friendly nature of our expert and knowledgeable staff. We love them and we are sure you will too!

	Belinda is one of the owners and instructors at Scuba Shack. Being the chick she usually spends her days in the dive shop making sure the place runs smoothly and all the divers are being looked after. But when they go let her out she has manages to dive in various countries over the world including Fiji, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Philippines, Indonesia, PNG and Bali, as well as various locations up and down the east coast. The others think she is mad because she loved diving in the freezing cold fresh water caves, sinkholes and caverns of Mt Gambier, but she loved it reckons we all should give it a go! Belinda gets her love of the water from growing up on Lake Macquarie, sailing and surfing every weekend. She learnt to dive straight after she finished school in 1990 just to clean the bottom of yachts. That soon got boring when she discovered Nelson Bay and she has been doing real diving ever since! 	Greg is the other owner of Scuba Shack and also instructor. Once certified as an Open Water diver years ago at the old dive shop in Norah Head, Greg never stopped diving. He was even part of the Formula One Power Boat Rescue Diving Team that traveled the country. Greg also has dived in various locations around the world including Fiji, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands and just about everywhere in Eastern Australia. Greg’s love of the water comes from being a beach bum when growing up in the Shire. (Southern not Wong) Like all good Hobbits, when not diving, he is hard at work knee deep in concrete. 	His name is Brian but we all him Lee. (don’t ask) Lee is very passionate about many things and one of them is diving. Lee completed his Open Water course, went straight to Advanced then Rescue. A few years later Lee completed Dive Master and he enjoyed working for 4 years in various dive shops on the coast and overseas. He soon got sick of making coffee and filling tanks and decided to bite the bullet and become an Instructor and has never looked back. Lee also was a member of that crazy Power Boat Rescue which took him to many parts of Australia. He is an avid photographer and will talk for hours about underwater imagery given half a chance. He is also keen on critters; he is the man to see if you have an identity crisis. Lee has also traveled the globe diving and working as a dive guide as well as numerous locations up and down the east coast from top to bottom. After falling in love with the Coolidge in Vanuatu and accidentally falling into a dive guide position while there on a holiday, Lee decided to take up tech diving as a pastime, which makes him not only one of the most experienced members of staff but also one of the most knowledgeable. Now back and firmly planted at Scuba Shack he still makes coffee and fills tanks. We secretly thinks he love it! 	Adam never really got out of the water once he learnt to dive with us way back when the shop was at Norah Head and we all thought he had gills. He has calmed down a bit now but his thirst for diving knowledge saw him continue his diving education to Scuba Instructor Level. When not in the water Adam can be found screaming on the sidelines of the hockey field barracking for his 2 kids. 	Toni Lee can be seen at the shop on weekends and on almost all of our trips away. Her love of everything to do with the sea makes her great at her role. When she isn't here at Scuba Shack you can see her in a Surf Lifesaving Boat as part of the Rowing Team. Always up for a laugh Toni is the crazy chick with the great big smile and is always the life of the party. She has traveled to Bali, Vanuatu, PNG, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Philippines as well as up and down the east coast. 	We call him Rusty and he is another one who did his Open Water Course with Scuba Shack. After his course he just continued to complete courses and soon became a Qualified Dive Master. He believes it’s better than his usual job of counting beans… and can be seen in his natural habitat as Scuba Shack on most weekends. Rusty is always keen for a beer at the end of the diving day and it doesn’t take much to twist his arm. Your shout of course! Rusty has been on many of Scuba Shacks domestic trips up and down the coast. As well as overseas to Vanuatu where he too fell in love with the Coolidge but not the Kava. STEVE FACEY Dive Master	After completing his Rescue Course, Steve decided to go the extra mile and gain the experience and knowledge that Dive Master brings. Steve has dived with Scuba Shack in Philippines, and Vanuatu as well as domestically up and down the coast. When Steve is not diving he will be behind the computer helping those of us who a less computer literate. He resides in Canberra so every opportunity he is back on the coast leading dives for Scuba Shack. 	Dave did his Open Water Course back 1996 with the old Dive Shop in East Toukley. On one of his bike rides along the coast, Dave saw a bunch of Scuba Divers from Scuba Shack and started chatting, as he does. Soon after Dave was a regular diving member of the Dive Club and soon started to get the taste of it again. He then started to gain more experience and did more courses until reaching Trainee Dive Master. Dave has dived Fiji, Bali and numerous dive locations up and down the east coast and is a frequent traveler with the Dive Club. Dave loves to chat and meet new dive buddies. You might see Dave riding on his shiny Blue Bike with a great big bag of Dive Gear attached to the back. Give him a wave. Jane Sherriff Trainee Dive Master	Miss Jane is a tough school teacher by week and crazy fun loving Trainee Dive Master by weekend. Jane has been a member of Scuba Shack’s Dive Club since it began. We met her on a dive trip down the coast and her irresistible fun loving nature saw her gravitate back to the coast to dive with Scuba Shack at every opportunity. Residing in Orange, she makes the 5 hour trip to the coast most weekends, now that is dedication for you! Jane has been to many overseas destinations – to many to mention as well as many dive trips up and down the coast. Suzi Baughan Trainee Dive Master	Suzi wandered into the shop in November 2007, wanting a more fun family atmosphere in a dive club. Well she came to the right place!. Now she is always here meeting new dive buddies every weekend. She soon approached us about trainee dive master so we put her on an internship and off she started. Suzi is to blame for the fantastic look of the shop, roping her boyfriend the builder in to renovating the shop into her new second home. Gina Mascord Trainee Dive Master	Gina’s obsession with the Great White Shark led her to learn to dive with Scuba Shack, but her thirst for knowledge led her to Dive Master. She did however fulfill her crazy dream and dived with the Great White Sharks of South Australia. And yes we all think she is a mad woman. Very passionate about sharks in general, Gina has many great stories about her shark diving experiences. Lucas Miller Trainee Shop Boy	Lucky Luke learnt to dive with Scuba Shack and has been diving ever since. On School Holidays Lucas helps out in the shop and on courses with the admin and running of the dive sites. He loves to fill tanks, clean the shop and we are sure filing is favorite thing to do – NOT. He has frequented many dive trips up and down the coast. Jim Foyle Skipper/Instructor	Once certified as an Open Water diver James has never stopped diving. Now an instructor, James has dived in various locations around the world including Thailand, Papua New Guinea, Fiji and all up and down the East Coast of Australia. James is also your friendly skipper. When not diving, James is a Primary School Teaching guru. Louise Foyel Deckie/Boat Convener	Louise is a keen Advanced Open Water diver. Louise has been diving in Thailand, Papua New Guinea and Fiji and also up and down the East Coast of Australia. Louise will help in the organisation of your course. When not diving, Louise is a Primary School Teacher and mum of one awesome little boy.
