Introduction

This course is designed to train divers in the use of a DPV and familiarizes them with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of using a DPV in Non-overhead environments.

Student Pre-Requisites

1. Open Water Diver.

Required Equipment

1. Basic SCUBA equipment.
2. Diver Propulsion Vehicle.

2. Advantages of using a DPV
3. Overview of DPVs used for this course
4. Safety considerations
5. Using the buddy system
6. DPV use
